I bought this airbed couple of month ago. Two people can easily sleep on it and the pump comes in very handy but unfortunately it lasted only 1 month and all the walls that separate the chambers detached from the surface and exactly one night after that the bed was completely out of air! Buying this kind of mattress was a big mistake. If you want one to last-long, go for a bed with just one chamber.

Coleman 120V Electric Quick Pump Review

Coleman 120V Electric Quick Pump

If you want to blow up low pressure items (toys, beach balls, mattresses, small pools, etc.), this pump works great and VERY fast. It can also be used to deflate these items quickly and completely. However, if you want to pump up bike or car tires or hard balls like basketballs or footballs, look elsewhere. It doesn't have the oompf or the adapter to do those things. Why the previous reviewer thought it worked on bike tires, I can't imagine, since you can see from the picture that it doesn't come with the appropriate adapter. Plus, it is really just a fan, not a compressor. If you need portability, buy the 12V rechargeable one. This one needs 120 VAC current.

Intex Pillow Rest Twin Airbed with Built-in Electric Pump Review

Intex Pillow Rest Twin Airbed with Built-in Electric Pump

(More customer reviews)
My wife and I were in need of an air bed. I had surgery on my leg this week, and it was decided that I'd have our regular bed to myself for a few weeks. So we needed a place for my wife to sleep, as several weeks on the sofa isn't a great idea. So I set out looking for an air bed. We didn't know one brand from another, so it came down to reviews and price. There seemed to be two sticking points with people. First, did the thing come with a pump, and how did it feel? Price too to a lesser extent. I did notice that some beds do not come with a pump, and you're looking at an additional $25 on average for a decent sized pump. We were looking for something decent, I didn't want the cheapest one imaginable, but I wasn't looking to break the bank either. So I happened upon this one. After reading the reviews, I decided to take the plunge. My wife has slept on it for a couple of nights, and has said it is OK. I think that's what most people here who are ragging on it aren't taking into account. THIS IS AN AIR BED. If you buy this (or any other one) expecting it to feel the same as your regular box spring and mattress, then you're missing the point. Air beds aren't meant to be the same. My wife says it's comfortable enough, but she wouldn't want to sleep on it long term. Which is the point of these. Short term bed. It feels great. It has kind of a water bed feel to it (especially if you don't fill it to max capacity). The air pump is built into the unit, you basically open a hatch, take out the plug, put it in the wall, and go. You run the pump by deciding whether or not you are going to inflate or deflate it (it sucks air out too). It filled the whole thing in about 2-3 minutes. It's somewhat loud, but not excessively loud, so if you're in a place where quiet is an issue, this might be a concern, but I imagine any pump would be that way. Some reviews talk about leakage or punctures. Sure, it's got the potential for punctures, but what air bed does not? The package comes with a puncture repair for a few minor leaks, but we have had it inflated for a week now, and have not yet had to refill it. It's good quality, it's cheap, and has a pump. We give it five stars, as my wife can sleep on it, and it does the job. Recommended!

Wenzel Insta-Bed Queen Raised Sure Grip Bottom with Built-in Pump Review

This bed is a step above the Aerobed. Unlike my previous 2 aerobeds, this mattress doesn't leak. None at all over an 8 day period of guests. Not even a slow leak. None! Pump is quick and the power deflate is a real time and space saver. Flocking on the mattress is also warmer than a cold plastic top. Can't believe how much less in price this was over the aerobeds-- a no-brainer!!!

Intex Raised Downy Queen Airbed with Built-in Electric Pump Review

Intex Raised Downy Queen Airbed with Built-in Electric Pump

I originally bought this bed as a "quick fix" as I was moving into a new apartment. After the first few nights of using it, I was impressed enough to delay my plans to purchase a real bed. Unfortunately, I noticed that it had started to develop small leaks after using it continuously for three years. Patching it up worked at first, but six months later, another small leak developed and I knew it was time to replace it. Having struck gold once, I bought a similar air bed at from a different company. It was okay but after one night on it, I decided that I need to patch up the old bed one last time until I order a replacement for it. The soft mattress top on my Rising Comfort really makes a difference, the other one was just an air bed. I'm ordering another ASAP, but I'm deciding on which model to purchase. I don't expect that very many people would be looking to purchase this as their main bed. But I would recommend it for whatever purpose it is needed for. Speaking for myself, I experienced very little air loss for the first few years without ever taking it down. Before I had a leak, I recall only using the pump a few times to make it more firm. I'm wondering if those who had trouble received defective units or had problems with the cap when periodically deflating and sorting it.

Intex® Camp Air Bed with Pump Review

Intex® Camp Air Bed with Pump
Average Reviews:

I bought a pair of these mattresses at the last minute on price alone because we needed a pair of twins in a hurry. They held their air through four full days/nights of camping by two teenage boys. They boys like to flop down and bounce around - goofing off as kids do. We used standard twin sheets which stayed tucked in. The mattresses did not get cold in the night (the flocking helps) and never lost a bit of air. They were very quick to inflate, quick to deflate, and easy to roll up to pack for the next trip. Winners... who knew? Now YOU do. Update. The review above was written during the summer. The mattresses were since stored in a covered tub in our hot Florida attic for many months until being pulled out for a Thanksgiving camping trip. Once again these mattresses held up to the teenager test. They were just as supple and fresh as the first day out of the box. I'm really happy with these and plan to use them again in another few months.

Intex Supreme Air-Flow Queen Airbed Nylon Flocked with Built-in Electric Pump Review

Intex Supreme Air-Flow Queen Airbed Nylon Flocked with Built-in Electric Pump
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
As an owner of several air mattress' in the past, I feel that I speak from experience. Often the bed is made of an inferior plastic that is too thin and will soon burst from the seams, or is constructed poorly which allows for instability. This bed is neither. It is sturdy enough for multiple persons to rest comfortably, allowing them to sleep without falling in a "valley" or slipping off when near the edge due to it's multiple channel design. Another nice feature not readily known or stated is that the bed has a channel all the way around between the two sections that allow you to actually tuck in a sheet, with a larger gap at the corners. A very nice feature that should be noted. As with any air mattress, fill it until it is soft, not firm and let it sit for an hour before blowing it up to the desired firmness. This will allow the plastic to warm up and will prevent cracks and leaks. Second, DON'T OVER FILL the mattress, and thirdly, if you jump up and down on ANY air mattress like a trampoline, expect air leakage. THE ONLY ISSUE I HAVE WITH THIS BED IS THIS: The size is INCORRECTLY stated! This bed does NOT conform to the measurements given ("Approx." 80" x 60") and is correctly measured at 77" x 56", which conforms to a "Double" sized bed, not a "Queen" sized bed. BEWARE!

And best of all, the Air-Flow mattress is remarkably easy to inflate thanks to the built-in, high-powered electric pump, which does its job in a mere 3-1/2 minutes.
