(More customer reviews)I love this little water bottle, except one thing . . . its actually too hard for my toddler to drink out of. It has never leaked, hasn't broken in the several hundred throws, and its BPA free. But my 19 month old can't drink from it. I will keep it for him until he is older.

Product Description:
NALGENE containers have stood up to some of the world's most extreme conditions. Small potatoes compared to small children. The NALGENE Grip 'n Gulp is tough enough to survive being thrown from a moving minivan, spillproof enough to compel parents to blame the rug stains on the dog, and odorproof enough to allow leftover milk to go undetected under the couch for months. Most importantly, it's a great way for little kids to reach new heights.

(More customer reviews)First off, let me say that I am an avid biker, having spent thousands of dollars on my own bikes which have accumulated thousands of miles.
This bike is a great idea. The basic design is good. The quality seems to be questionable.
The Strider I bought brand new came with flaking paint and stickers peeling. The plastic and foam wheels wobbled a bit. The headset is plastic, and it's stiff and doesn't turn well. The flimsy plastic seat is covered with a very thin and soft vinyl and attached with a single small bolt. The handgrips are also very thin and soft, prone to tearing and exposing the sharp bar ends. Both seat and handlebar clamps are flimsy, cheap, and don't work well.
I do like the foot rests and the basic design. As far as I know no other bike fits smaller riders. The foam tires are great for indoor use but I would prefer real tires for outdoors. The optional foot brake is a much better idea than a handbrake for kids to use. The concept is excellent. My 19 month old took right to it. But...
Basically, every part of this bike is made as cheap as possible, typical of what I would expect of a $40 Wal-Mart bike. This is priced around $100. Now, I don't expect top quality at this price. Nor do I think a toddler needs top quality. But I do expect it to at least be comparable or better than full-size bikes in this price range (which still isn't saying much). The Strider is not.
After spending a few days with this bike I was simply unconvinced it would hold up to one kid, much less two. That's not to say it can't. I ended up taking it back and getting a KinderBike. The KinderBike was actually cheaper but of much better quality with alloy wheels, real tires, quick release seat clamp, 4-point adjustable angle seat, proper steel ball-bearing headset, aluminum stem, durable handgrips that are not easily torn, a handbrake, 50% greater weight rating (75lbs), and a three-year warranty. Downsides are it's 3.75 inches taller, doesn't have any kind of foot rests, and doesn't offer a foot brake. But I have found the last two items really aren't as important as you might think.Update: The minimum seat height of the KinderBike is claimed to be 13.5", however I measured it at 14.75". This is a considerable difference, making the Kinderbike too big for most two year olds and even many three year olds. So we returned it and went back to the Strider. But if your kids are tall enough, I highly recommend the KinderBike, there is no doubt it is built to last longer. At a lower cost, it's really a no-brainer. But again, only for taller/older kids with an inseam of around 15" or more.
I would add a star back if I could, for the sole reason that the Strider gets your kid on a bike sooner than any other metal balance bike I'm aware of. I guess I'm willing to sacrifice quality for that, but I'm still not happy about it considering the price.
***UPDATE 4/09***
Well, not surprisingly, my son's Strider handgrips tore almost immediately, exposing the sharp bar ends. I also started hearing a clicking sound in the rear wheel like a bearing was going out. I contacted Strider about this and they sent me out a new wheel and handgrips immediately, no questions asked. I believe it was even the owner himself that responded. The new handgrips they sent are similar to the ones on the Kinderbike, reinforced on the ends to prevent tearing out. Much better. The foam tires have also held up fine so far and the convenience of not having to air them up is nice.
My son really loves this thing and is still too small for the Kinderbike, so it was worthwhile to buy this despite the problems. Hopefully Strider Sports is learning some lessons and will improve future models because it truly is a great idea.
***Update 6/10****
I do think my initial concerns were overblown. After hundreds of miles this Strider has held up just fine and is ready for the next kid. I still think it's overpriced for what it is, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anybody due to the light weight, low seat height, easy (basically no) maintenance, and how much fun our son has had on it. Striders do come with good handgrips now. I see you can update your rating now so I have changed it to 4 stars because my son has gotten much more enjoyment out of this than anything else we have bought him.
I have contemplated removing much of my negative review, but I still feel they are still valid comparison points. At a lower price point they would not be.

(More customer reviews)I am very happy with this purchase, with one small complaint. The bottom compartment of the case has 3 stiff dividers where you store your golf shoes. The only problem is that they don't stay in place on the sides, which makes it difficult to remove my golf shoes because the case has sort of collapsed on my shoes. Other than that, I love it. I'm always prepeared for my round, and never leave anything I need at the house, because it's all in my new Samsonite trunk organizer!

Keep all your golf gear neatly arranged when traveling to South Carolina or other resort destinations with the Samsonite golf trunk organizer. The trunk--which is made of durable ripstop polyester with waterproof backing--offers two levels of storage, similar to the design of many jewelry boxes. The trunk also includes a large mesh section above the top for smaller items, such as gloves, tees, snacks, or water. Finally, the trunk's movable dividers help you keep everything in place, so you can easily partition your jackets, rain slickers, and shirts. Other features include a ventilated mesh front door that helps you air out the contents, a small mesh pocket for money or small accessories, an eyeglass/cell phone pouch, a series of loops for holding golf tools or grips, two end carrying handles made of ergonomic rubber, and self-healing nylon zippers with oversized zipper pulls.
The Samsonite golf trunk organizer, which includes a lock and key, measures 24 by 10 by 14 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 5 pounds.

(More customer reviews)This is kind of like reviewing a pencil- you sharpen it and it writes- use the other end if you make a mistake.
Well, how much can you say about a foam roll. You lay it down and then you lay down on it. Can be kicked under the couch for those that don't want to lift it. If you drop it, it won't break. Well, don't take my word for it. Read more reviews about a foam roll to be sure.
Seriously though, as foam rolls go, this one is good. It's high density foam, so it won't break apart like the kind of foam that is used to package boxed items. I weigh 175 pounds and found it to be firm YET there's an inherent amount of "give" to it that keeps it from becoming uncomfortable.
So if you're interested in a foam roll to stretch out on, I'd have to say this is a good choice. Also consider Treat Your Own Spinal Stenosis if you need a decent exercise program for your back.

(More customer reviews)I bought an A2 for my wife, and because she didn't want to ride by herself--and I'm bigger and heavier--I bought this Razor Pro thinking it was simply made sturdier and nothing more. I also happen to be an avid cyclist of many years so I can really tell the differences.
Turns out there are huge differences between this Pro model and the others--to the point where I could say the others are toys and this is actually sports equipment/transportation.
*The stability in steering is much better on this one.
*The wheels are thicker, which I'm sure contributes to its ability to hold a line better--though I have to say the A2 is not bad either.
*It's faster, and since the ride is a lot more stable it's actually much safer to ride this going fast than the others.
*I believe this is actually made of a higher quality of aluminium.
*Overall it's made of a heavier construction more appropriate for those who are going to do more on it than go back and forth on the sidewalk.
Bottom Line: For the price difference here on Amazon (the A2 being about $40 and the Pro being roughly $50) it's worth it to spend the extra $10 on the Pro.
This isn't just a toy like the others. You can actually enjoy the ease and convenience of riding this thing to the store and back, or through the middle of an urban environment adding to both your enjoyment and convenience without having to lock it up outside when you enter a building--or being prohibited from entering a store like you would with Roller Blades without changing to shoes first.
And as a 5'10" adult male, I can say this is a better fit--though the A2 isn't bad either in that respect.

(More customer reviews)I am a pretty tough grader on stuff like this and have nothing to lose or gain in any of my reviews. We have had a lot of snow and subsequent ice in our area over the last month. My street and drive are ice covered at least 1-2 inches thick and then it melts on top of the ice and it is impossible to stand up. I purchased the Yaktrax and let me tell you, they are worth every penny. I did not get the Pro model because I didn't know if I would like them. When I first got them I tied to go for a walk down the driveway with my regular New Balance running shoes (no Yaktrax) and could barely stand up... Kept sliding without even walking. Went back in the house and put the Yaktrax over my running shoes and went back outside. I was able to walk across the ice like it wasn't even there. I felt like I probably could run on the ice if I wanted, but didn't want to push it. I don't know how the Yaktrax will be in deep snow, but then you probably wouldn't need them there anyway. But on ice, they are super! I read some previous reviews that said they had problems with breakage. I make sure that the rubber bands are pulled high up onto the shoe and try to have the rubber bands on the bottom go between any grooves that I have on the bottom of the shoe. This is a long winded review to a low cost item but I wanted to make sure it gets the review that it deserves.

Product Description:
Looking for an easy-to-use, lightweight traction device for your shoes? Turn to the spikeless Yaktrax Walker traction cleats, which offer 10 times the gripping points as any spike-based traction device. Ideal for pedestrians, the elderly, businesspeople, or anyone else who wants greater stability on ice and snow, the Yaktrax Walkers are terrific for walking to and from work, school, or even the mailbox down the street. (Mountain climbers should consider the Yaktrax Pro cleats, which are designed for more arduous conditions.)
Each Yaktrax Walker is made out of an injection-molded thermal plastic elastomer that's lightweight yet durable. The coils are also protected against rusting, with a hand-wound design that provides 360 degrees of traction on ice and snow. Every step you take in the Yaktrax Walker places hundreds of biting edges in direct contact with the ice beneath your feet, with the high-strength horizontal coils providing forward and backward stability while the vertical coil pattern provides side-to-side stability. And thanks to the sturdy outerband--which conforms to the length and width of your boot or shoe--the cleats fit securely throughout the day but slip off in an instant.
Suitable for temperatures as low as -41 degrees F, the Yaktrax Walkers have been approved and recommended by the National Health & Wellness Club and the Handyman Club of America. The Yaktrax Walkers are available in extra-small, small, medium, and large sizes.

(More customer reviews)I still remember the first time I slipped on a pair of 991s, it felt like putting on a pair of socks - fantastic. That was a couple of decades ago and I have not purchased a different brand or style of running shoe since then.
I was a bit surprised when New Balance discontinued the foam cushining 991 and replaced it with the gel cushioned 992. It took a bit of getting used to but I made the transition to 992s. With the 992s also came the option to get several different colors of 992s: the 991s always only came in grey.
I was elated to learn though that the company had again upgraded to 993s which includes a combination of foam and gel. I think they're lighter than 992s too and the feel on first putting on a pair of 993s is very similar to putting on a pair of 991s. They did keep the multiple color options of the 992 line so you can get these in black, grey, white.
Overall, I am extremely happy with this product.
Foremost on my loyalty is the commitment that the company has to local markets. The 993s are Made in the USA and in the back of each of these shoes you can see the prominent USA in bold against an American flag. They are a patriot's shoe and they are quite popular in the military. Unlike other shoe companies that use almost slave child labor to make shoes and then sell them at horrendous profits in America, New Balance provides good jobs in the US. Yes they make less profit and they endorse fewer athletes but we buyers are loyal because:
a) its a fantastic product
b) probably the best running shoe made (don't take my word, try one)
c) they're made in the USA
d) the company is committed to local markets and to producing quality running shoes
No I don't run many marathons anymore (but I have in the past) and I do love these shoes and once every couple of years when my old pair of 993s get relegated to the home repair shoe, I will go out and buy a shiny new pair of 993. It's always just a little bit special when I put on a new pair....
Btw, my closet has a lineup from the two pairs of decade old beaten up old 991s that still come out when I do gardening to the 992s that have been recently demoted with the purchase of my 993s: Yes I still own my 991s, the go through the washer now and again and they still work even after 10 to 15 years (amazing quality)....but they can't be seen in public anymore.
Anyhow, I hope this helps you make a decision on these shoes. It's hard to find a running shoe that has history and character like this line and I'll admit I'm a bit selfish here, the more popular 993s remain - the less likelihood that they'll be discontinued before I die.
